this gorgeous enameled piece is from the book 500 Necklaces, which I was working on at my "day job". Sorry I forgot to write the artist name down before it went out the door ... whoever you are, my apologies. A kid I went to college with was featured in this book, made me feel instantly inferior. ugh.
So as I said, I love the "idea" of jewels - but the mining practice is just so nasty and don't get me started on the cost ... but these diamonds are affordable!
